Nevada JobConnect to host retail services job fair Wednesday in Reno
As Nevada continues to recover from the recession, employers are steadily adding jobs to the economy, creating more opportunities for jobseekers, said Renee Olson, administrator for Nevada’s Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation’s Employment Security Division, which oversees Nevada JobConnect.
“We are pleased that more job opportunities are available to our jobseekers who are still looking for work”, Olson said. “This job fair is a partnership between Nevada JobConnect and the retail services business community. Hosting this event keeps with our mission to provide quality employment services to Nevada’s citizens, as well as the state’s many businesses.”
Jobseekers are encouraged to arrive early, dress professionally, and bring plenty of resumes. There are 37 businesses participating in this job fair, with over 750 positions available for retail sales, customer services, merchandisers, cashiers, supervisors, managers, and many other position types. Positions range from full-time to part-time, permanent and seasonal.
Participating employers are listed below.
