Fort Churchill State Historic Park hosts 'Old Fashioned Halloween Fun' October 20 in Silver Springs
Enjoy an afternoon of old-fashioned Halloween fun at Fort Churchill State Historic Park on October 20 in Silver Springs.
This family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities including harvest games on the museum lawn, a scavenger hunt around the fort ruins to earn treats, and pumpkin carving and scarecrow building contests (please bring your own pumpkin carving tools and clothing to dress your scarecrow – pumpkins, straw, and scarecrow frames will be provided).
WHEN: Saturday, October 20, 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. Pumpkin carving and scarecrow building will be available starting at 2 p.m. and judging will take place at 4 p.m. All other activities will be available from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m., while supplies last.
WHERE: Fort Churchill State Historic Park. Fort Churchill is located 8 miles south of the
Highway95A/Highway 50 intersection on Highway 95A at 10000 Highway 95A, Silver Springs,
NV 89429.
COST: Park entrance fees apply, $5.00 per vehicle. There is no additional cost to participate in the event.
