Carson Now Columnist Diane Dye Hansen Speaks About Courage at Women’s Conference
Carson Now columnist and business consultant Diane Dye Hansen will be speaking at Women’s Conference. This event, filled with education, inspiration, networking, shopping, and fun for women will take place at the Carson Nugget, Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Hansen is the closing speaker at 3 p.m. Her topic empowers women as she reveals her formula for cultivating courage.
“Courage is too often squashed by its nemesis, fear,” says Hansen. “Fear tells us our dreams are too big. Our action is too risky. Our circumstances are too difficult. Let me tell you. Fear is wrong.”
Hansen will break down her four step formula for cultivating courage. She will guide the audience step-by-step and teach how cultivating courage leads to feminine power.
Hansen continues, “Courage isn't about jumping off the cliff. It doesn't have to be extreme.” She explains, “It all starts with the decision to consider courageousness. Approach the mountain. Grab the ladder you want to climb. Take a deep breath and ask for help. Fear is inevitable. Courage is a choice.”
Hansen’s formula breaks down the cultivation of courage into four, easy to digest, concepts. Like her columns, Hansen’s speech will end with an exercise conference attendees can work on immediately to get results. Her goal is to infuse more courage into the lives, businesses, and careers of Carson City area women.
Women’s Conference is a first-annual event. Other speakers include the young entrepreneur Kassandra Chilson, event producer and philanthropist Cassidy Davis, and author and online business expert Emily Brown.
The ticket price for the day is $30. Attendance of the conference in full is not required to buy a ticket and attend. Go here to purchase tickets on Eventbrite.
