Michael Hohl Motor Company launches third annual October food drive for Pets of the Homeless
Beginning Saturday and running the entire month of October, Michael Hohl Motor Company in Carson City hosts its third annual "Give A Dog A Bone" pet food drive for the nonprofit organization Pets of the Homeless.
The Carson City-based national nonprofit provide pet food and basic emergency veterinary care to the homeless pets in local communities across the United States including Carson City.
Last year’s drive collected 2,266 pounds of pet food and supplies valued at more than $5,264.
During the month of October bring your donations of dog and cat food to the Michael Hohl Motor Company showroom at 3700 S. Carson St. in Carson City and help fill a pickup. The donations will be delivered to FISH in North Carson City where over 150 local people are asking for pet food each month.
Donors will receive a free Corley Ranch pumpkin.
