Deputies arrived at the residence in the 500 block of Pioche Street and found the situation in the front of the home to be calm. Inside deputies interviewed the victim and witnesses who advised there was an argument with the woman's husband over a drinking game “flip cup.”

Deputies spoke with witnesses who said they observed the male and female victim arguing and intervened because the man had his arms around the woman’s neck. A witness said he pulled the man off of the woman because he was strangling her. The suspect was arrested at 12:14 a.m. Bail: $3,137.
