Carson City arrests: Jail inmate faces California felony warrant charge
A 28-year-old inmate at Carson City Jail was booked on a felony evading charge issued out of California, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Shane Robert Donovan of Incline Village was arrested for the original Placer County warrant charge of evading an officer on the wrong side of the highway and evading a police officer with reckless driving. Bail: $30,000.
— A 30-year-old Carson City man, Keith Miller, was arrested Tuesday, 6:25 p.m. for suspicion of felony drug possession. According to the arrest report the man had a pill bottle with five Diazepam in which he did not have a prescription. Bail: $2,500.
— A 51-year-old homeless man, Ronald Ernest Stedman, was arrested Tuesday, 12:23 p.m. in the 500 block of Jeanell for felony suspicion of a controlled substance-meth, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, a loaded syringe with methamphetamine. Bail: $3,500.
— A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 11:42 p.m. in the northbound I-580 onramp area for suspicion of gross misdemeanor battery on a protected person. The man allegedly battered a nurse at Carson Tahoe Hospital. Bail: $2,500.
— A 52-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday, 4:32 p.m. in the 1600 block of Market Street for a misdemeanor warrant, failure to provide community service completion. Bail: $500.
— A 35-year-old Carson City man, Justin Colin Shine, was arrested Monday in the 1200 block of Stanford, for felony suspicion of domestic battery with strangulation. Bail: $15,000.
— A 23-year-old Dayton man was booked into jail Monday, 9 a.m. for a misdemeanor failure to appear criminal contempt warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court. He’s being held without bail in lieu of a hearing.
— A 42-year-old Gardnerville man was booked into jail Monday, 1:15 p.m. for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued in April out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 11:08 p.m. in the 1100 block of East William Street for misdemeanor obstructing and using a cell phone while driving. Bail: $524.
— A 61-year-old Minden man was booked into Carson City jail Monday for a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued June 21, 2017 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
— A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 12:48 p.m. in the 3600 block of Desatoya for two counts misdemeanor suspicion of battery. $2,274.
— A 37-year-old Yerington man was arrested Saturday, 10 a.m. for two misdemeanor contempt of court warrants issued out of Carson City Justice Court and Fernley Municipal Court, and a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant issued out of Sparks Municipal Court. Bail: $2,290.
