Carson City announces changes to Carson City utility billing and online payments

Carson City Public Works and the Carson City Treasurer’s Office are excited to announce the launch of Carson City’s new utility billing program.

Starting Tuesday, August 3, 2021, customer utility bills will have a different look, and will be more user-friendly so that customers can find and review utility billing information and consumption history.

In addition, this new utility billing program will also allow customers to manage all aspects of their utility account through a new online portal, where the customer can view, print, and pay utility bills.

During this transition, the current online payment portal Click2Gov will be disabled, and will no longer work to process online utility payments. Effective Friday, August 6, 2021, utility customers can make online payments through the new self-service payment portal located at https://selfservice.carson.org/.

Carson City Public Works and the Carson City Treasurer’s Office appreciate your understanding as they transition to this new system and look forward to working with you in the new utility billing system. Should you need any assistance or have any questions as it relates to this transition or re-establishing your recurring monthly payment, please contact either Carson City Public Works or the Carson City Treasurer’s Office at the following:

Carson City Public Works: 775-887-2355 ext. 2 or utilitybilling@carson.org
