Three jailed in connection with theft of 1,100 Lake Tahoe ski vouchers
An investigation into the March 10 theft of more than $116,000 worth of Lake Tahoe area ski pass vouchers has led to the arrest of three men on suspicion of conspiracy, felony embezzlement, theft and possession of stolen property, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
On July 15 and 16, deputies from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office took into custody Tim Jacobsen, 21, of Minden, Nev., Mark Graham, 20 of Gardnerville, Nev., and Angelo Bozin, 25 of South Lake Tahoe, Calif.
Bail has been set on each man at $10,000.
The allegations stem from the reported theft of 1,100 ski pass vouchers from Heavenly Mountain Resort. The ski passes are valued at $120 each, with a total possible value of $116,520.
The stolen vouchers had been turning up at Kirkwood, Heavenly and Northstar resorts since the beginning of 2016, prompting the lengthy and extensive investigation.
