Carson City Sheriff's SET arrest man wanted for burglary, grand larceny who fled traffic stop
A Carson City man wanted for felony warrants who evaded deputies following a traffic stop last week was taken into custody Saturday, according to a Carson City Sheriff's Office Special Enforcement Team arrest report.
Mario Jesus Quevedo was taken into custody at 5:09 p.m. in a casino parking lot casino in the 3300 block of Market Street.
According to the arrest report, Quevedo had a warrant issued for his arrest on May 28 for crimes alleging burglary and grand larceny. During the alleged event, a firearm was stolen from the victim.
On June 20, patrol deputies conducted a traffic stop where Quevedo was a passenger. He fled on foot and evaded capture from deputies. See story here.

Quevedo has had an extensive criminal history including violent tendencies and has been arrested more than 20 times in Nevada, Oregon and Texas for crimes ranging to sex crimes involving a child, assault, battery, theft and drug charges, the arrest report states.
