Care Flight called for injured dirt biker at Kings Canyon
A dirt biker was injured Saturday evening in the Kings Canyon area, with Carson City Search and Rescue responding, according to emergency dispatch.
A Care Flight helicopter was called at 7:39 p.m. to pick up the injured off-road motorcycle rider as he was being brought down from the canyon by search and rescue and the Carson City Fire Department. The rider was taken to a helicopter landing zone by a ground ambulance and flown to the trauma ward at Renown Medical Center in Reno.
The off-road rider's injuries and their condition is unknown at this time. We will update as more information is made available.
