Take a walk on the wild side and celebrate Pin-Up Pets
From April 1 to 12, the Nevada Humane Society (NHS) is celebrating the more risqué members of the community — our Pin-Up Pets.
Beautiful inside and out, our Pin-Up Pets will entice you with their spirit and personality.
Cookie came from a large litter. With her mom having so many siblings to take care of, she decided to take off on her own. Life for a small town kitten isn’t easy.
Initially being a pin up pet was not supposed to be a long-term job, but Cookie fell in love with the work. Cookie isn’t afraid to strut what the good lord gave her. Cookie’s one requirement for any potential adopter is that they aren’t afraid of a strong, confident woman.
All her life, Paris was told she would never make it in the fashion industry because of her size. As a plus-sized vixen, Paris refused to let that stop her from achieving her dreams. Her persistence paid off. Now Paris is one of the most requested plus-sized pin up models. She is fat, fabulous, and proud to be a Pin-Up Pet of NHS.
Adoption deals are so good — they're scandalous. Adult dogs are just $50, not including specially-priced dogs and puppies.
Adult cats over the age of five are free, and adult cats under the age of five are $2. Kittens are just $60.
All Pin-Up Pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped.
NHS in is open for adoptions seven days a week at two locations from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and an hour earlier at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
For pet adoptions in Reno, visit 2825 Longley Lane. For pet adoptions in Carson City, visit 549 Airport Road.
