Widespread flooding in southeast Carson City

The Carson River crested near 12 feet as of late Friday night and was measured at 11.8 feet as of Saturday morning, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Reno said.
Flood stage for the Carson River is 10 feet, and major flooding occurs above 11 feet.
The river's water level is expected to gradually drop to below flood stage by late Saturday night.
