Carson City Sheriff's deputies serve several warrants Friday
Multiple individuals wanted on outstanding misdemeanor bench warrants were arrested Friday.
— A 26 year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday morning at 3:32 a.m. in the area of Como Street and Saliman Road on two warrants for bail condition violations and one for failing to appear in court.
According to the warrants, the suspect was wanted for failing to report to the Carson City Department of Alternative Sentencing (DAS) upon his release from the Carson City Detention Center.
The suspect also failed to provide a current address after being released from jail, the warrant stated.
Sheriff's deputies were responding to a suicidal subject call early Friday morning. They were advised that the subject had active warrants issued by the Carson City Justice Court.
The subject was reported to have left the scene before deputies arrived. He was located on Como Street in the direction of Saliman when law enforcement caught up to him.
The suspect was detained in handcuffs that point and then placed in custody once the warrants were confirmed through records check.
He was transported to the Carson City Jail for booking without incident. Bail: $2,500.
— A 27 year-old Reno woman was arrested Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the civil division at the Carson City Sheriff's Office after a misdemeanor traffic warrant for failure to appear was confirmed.
She was placed in handcuffs and escorted to the Carson City Jail for booking without incident. Bail: $955.
— A 49 year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday evening at 6:10 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Carson Street on a misdemeanor warrant issued by the East Fork Township Justice Court in Douglas County.
According to the arrest report, Sheriff's deputies responded to the area on a welfare check for a female subject, who requested transport to mental health.
Upon arrival, deputies met with the woman's husband, who was checked for wants and warrants.
Carson City Dispatch confirmed an outstanding bench warrant and he was placed in handcuffs at that point.
He was then transported to the Carson City Jail for booking. Carson City Fire and Paramedics responded to transport the female subject.
Bail: $175.
— A 32 year-old Carson City woman was arrested late Friday morning at 11:32 a.m. in the 1500 block of Firebox Road on a misdemeanor contempt of court warrant issued by the Carson City Justice Court.
According to the arrest report, a female subject arrived at the Sheriff's Office front counter to turn herself in.
The warrant was confirmed by records check through Carson City Dispatch. The woman was placed into custody and escorted over to the jail for booking.
Bail: $5,000.
