Consort Canzona 'Lessons and Carols' Concerts Canceled for Dec. 13 and 15
The Consort Canzona "Lessons and Carols" holiday concerts originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon (Dec. 13 at Carson Valley United Methodist Church in Gardnerville) and Monday night (Dec. 15 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Gardnerville) have to be canceled.
Too many of the performers are sick, including the conductor, Gary Schwartz. The group is affiliated with the Carson City Symphony, which WILL be having its 31st Annual "Holiday Treat" Concert as scheduled on Sunday, Dec. 14, at 4:00 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center.
A lot of work had gone into the preparation of the Consort Canzona "Lessons and Carols" holiday concerts, and the Carson City Symphony Association apologizes for having to cancel the event. After the holidays, the consort will resume rehearsals for concerts scheduled for May 15 and May 17, 2015.
For further information, call the Association at 775-883-4154, or check the Symphony website at CCSymphony.com.
