Carson City Senior Center hosting weekly vaccination events

In partnership with Immunize Nevada and Smith's Pharmacy, the Carson City Senior Center is hosting weekly Thursday COVID-19 vaccination events for individuals 65 and older during the month of March. Appointments are required for the two-dose vaccination and appointments are limited.

Family Art Night featured Friday at Carson City's Children's Museum

The Children's Museum of Northern Nevada in Carson City is hosting its first ever Family Art Night For family art night we will be instructing the color wheel! Each participant will have a take home painting (much like Picasso and Wine, but without the wine) that they did!

Carson City Health and Human Services is reporting Tuesday, March 2, 2021 that there is an additional death due to COVID-19 in the Quad County region. CCHHS is also reporting 10 new cases and 45 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad County region.

Carson City’s Tap Shack has been sold to new owners, long-time residents Todd and Dixie Thomsen, who are currently renovating both the inside and outside patio.
