Carson City Sheriff’s Office investigators have two persons of interest in custody Tuesday morning following the investigation of an armed robbery that happened overnight.

According to Carson City Sheriff’s Office Capt. Brian Humphrey, the robbery happened in a dirt parking lot area near Menlo Drive and Lompa Lane. A man was robbed at gunpoint.

One of the suspects in custody and is a person of interest in the robbery was wanted by the department of parole and probation for a warrant. The second person, a female, was detained for questioning, said Humphrey.

Both were taken into custody near the intersection of Long and Rand streets at around 10:30 a.m. Their names have not been released.
