Carson Cassie is back in the retention pond at the corner of Little Lane and Roop Street in Carson City, this time sporting a festive, red Santa Claus hat to the delight of residents, workers, motorists and pedestrians in the area.
Cassie, Carson City’s own local version of the legendary Loch Ness Monster in Scotland, appears from time to time in the retention pond, drawing looks from passers-by.
On Friday morning, she appeared to be in the Christmas spirit, wearing a Santa Claus cap in honor of the season.
