UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department, sheriff’s deputies and Nevada Highway Patrol were called Tuesday evening to a vehicle rollover in the area of I-580 and Fairview.

The incident was reported at 6:35 p.m. in the northbound lane. The driver told dispatch the vehicle flipped several times and that they were bleeding. The driver said she was OK, but advised that she was trapped in her vehicle, according to dispatch. Fire department personnel was able free the woman from the vehicle.

According to Carson City Fire Department Battalion Chief Micah Horton, the woman was evaluated and declined medical attention.

The offramp at I-580 was briefly closed, according to first responders.

Meanwhile, the fire department was also called to an accident at 6:25 p.m. involving a bike rider who said he hit something or something hit him and that he was injured. It was later determined the bike rider fell into a ditch. The incident happened in the area of US-50 between Flint Drive and East Nye Lane. CCFD located the man and evaluated the man.
