The Douglas High School Tigers boys swim and dive team capped off a dominant season with a 5A Regional Championship victory in combined swim and dive events, finishing the year undefeated and solidifying their place as one of the program’s most successful teams.

Led by Head Coach Greg Taylor and Assistant Coach Kathleen Matheson, the Tigers combined depth, discipline, and consistency throughout the season. Their unbeaten record reflects the hard work of captains Tim Gleason and Baylen Rowlett.

This week, they will be traveling to Las Vegas to compete in state championships in both swim and dive—a huge achievement for the program.

The girls swim team qualified two relays for state, while the boys swim team advanced as a team along with two relays; Baylen Rowlett also earned individual spots in the 500 freestyle and 100 butterfly. Divers Tim Gleason and Preston will both be competing in the dive championship.

With an undefeated record and a regional title in hand, the Tigers head to state as a source of pride for the Douglas County community.
