The Carson City School District confirmed that a set of bathrooms has been closed following vandalism on site of the CHS Silver Campus (formerly Pioneer High School).

A reader contacted Carson Now stating that after the door signs for the bathrooms were stolen in a presumed “prank,” all of the bathrooms were closed and would not be reopened until the signs were returned.

However, CCSD’s Public Information Officer Dan Davis confirmed that it is only the vandalized set that has been closed down, and students have access to other bathrooms on site.

It is not clear if additional vandalism within the bathrooms took place.
