A warm and hearty “welcome back” reverberated across the lawns, playgrounds and halls Monday morning throughout Carson City as classes officially kicked off for the 2018-19 school year.
Teachers, administrators and support staff made the return easy, with arrays of cheerful signs, high fives and rallies to greet students as a new chapter for the rest of the year begins. See a video from Carson High School here.
A number of events will happen now through October to help parents and students get back into the daily school routine.
