Meet Honi Honi, Nevada Humane Society, Carson City branch Pet of the Week! Honi Honi is a 9-month-old affectionate and playful pup with a personality as sweet as her name.

She’s a social butterfly who loves meeting new friends and is happiest when she’s spending time with her favorite people — whether it’s going for a long walk, snuggling up under a cozy blanket, or enjoying a car ride.

Honi Honi is looking for a loving home where she can continue learning, growing, and being her joyful self. With a bit of patience and guidance, she’ll make a loyal companion for someone who’s ready to invest in her potential.

Here’s what Honi Honi has to say:

Hi there, I’m Honi Honi, and I can’t wait to find my forever home! I’m a fun-loving girl with a big heart and a lot ofenergy. I love exploring the outdoors, so a backyard or plenty of daily walks would make me the happiest pup ever! I’m still learning some grown-up doggy manners (like house training and walking nicely on a leash), but I’m very smart and treat-motivated, so training is a breeze when snacks are involved.

I do have a sensitive tummy, so I need to stick to a hydrolyzed diet (z/d food) to stay happy and healthy. Also, because of my sensitive throat, I wear a harness instead of a collar, which I think is pretty stylish, don’t you?

I’d love a family who’s patient and ready to give me guidance as I learn. I sometimes get anxious when left alone, but with some time and consistency, I’m sure I’ll feel more secure. I’m also great with kids and other dogs, so if you want a pup who can make friends everywhere, I’m your girl!

If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy, an adventure partner, and a loyal best friend, I’m here and ready to be all ofthat and more! Let’s meet soon — I can’t wait to give you my best puppy smile!
