Sierra-Tahoe Branch and Unit No. 137 of the Fleet Reserve Association, in conjunction with the American Legion High Desert Post No. 56, raised $1,100 for Toys For Tots, Carson City program.
This has been a tradition for these organizations for several years. The funds are raised at their Annual Christmas Party rather than gift exchange among themselves.
Jim Jackson, President of the Sierra-Tahoe Branch #137 Fleet Reserve Association stated that “It is an honor for us to support this program and present this check on behalf of the Branch and Unit of our local FRA Branch & Unit and our Local American Legion Post. We believe that all of the children of our community should experience the gift of giving at Christmas.”
