Kim Yoko Smith, Nevada State Police

The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division is proud to announce its participation in the 11th Annual American Association of State Troopers “Best Looking Cruiser” contest. This year’s entry is particularly special as it coincides with the Nevada Highway Patrol’s 75th Anniversary, marking seven and a half decades of dedicated service and commitment to public safety in Nevada.
Our submission features an iconic photo taken in downtown Las Vegas at Circa Resort and Casino, showcasing the evolution of our fleet. The image highlights a 1990 Ford Mustang alongside our newly commissioned 2024 Ford Mustang, representing the blend of our storied past and promising future. The powerful backdrop, emblazoned with “Make History, Leave A Legacy,” captures the essence of our mission and values as state troopers.
We invite our community to show their support for the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) by voting for our cruiser in the AAST contest. Your vote not only honors the legacy of the NHP but also helps raise awareness about the crucial role state troopers play in ensuring safety on our highways.
Voting Details: Dates: July 15, 2024, at 7 a.m. to July 29, 2024, at 9 a.m. (PST)
