The 13th Annual Jazz and Beyond Carson City Music Festival, sponsored by the Mile High Jazz Band Association, continued Friday night with performances in downtown Carson City.
Featured in the Bob McFadden Plaza was Jackie Landrum Band, while Carson City Symphony Youth Strings performed in the Comma Coffee Courtyard as a prelude to the World Dance Open Floor event.
Dancers dressed in costume representative of their dance styles waited their turn to impress the audience and earn tips, which were donated to the Strings In The Schools fundraiser, a program of the Carson City Symphony.
Jazz and Beyond continues this weekend through Sunday.
