Carson City Elks Lodge will host a celebration for the 250th anniversary of the United States of America this coming Saturday, June 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event includes a tribute to the American flag, live music, free hot dogs and ice cream, raffle prizes, kids, carnival games and more. This event is open to the public. It will be held on North Nevada Street in front of the Carson City Elks Lodge.
Later at 5 p.m., the Carson City Emblem Club will be hosting an all American BBQ fundraiser dinner for the Carson City Sheriff’s Search and Rescue. $15 per person. Tickets are limited. Call Sharon Atkinson 775-246-1630.
