A 37-year-old minimum security inmate who walked away from an outside work crew Wednesday, May 11 in Carson City was recaptured early Tuesday, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Michael David Lillie was taken into custody in Woodland, Calif. He was booked into the Yolo County Jail charged with false representation to a police officer, a misdemeanor offense in California, and is also being held on a Director’s Retake Warrant from the Nevada Department of Corrections.
Lillie could be facing 2 to 6 years for escape after walking away from the work crew in downtown Carson City on May 11.
