A manhunt is underway in Fernley for the suspect in a stabbing that happened Wednesday morning, prompting the lockdown of schools there, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.
Suspect Adam Miller remains at large as of Wednesday afternoon. He was last seen wearing red sweatpants.
Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says Miller is considered armed and dangerous and if he is seen to call 911 immediately. Precautionary measures are being taken, all schools are on lockdown at this time.
The stabbing happened late Wednesday morning in the 3100 block of Farm District Road. Details and injuries are unknown at this time. Lyon County Sheriff’s Office urges people to avoid the area.
