In the 1500 block of Long Street, a young man drinking excessively throughout the night decided to play with a loaded pistol Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. The police and an ambulance responded to a call of shots fired.

A very intoxicated young man playing with a loaded pistol shot a round through his hand into the unit next door. Luckily the neighbor was not downstairs when the bullet passed through the joining wall.

This young man possibly gets jail time, a heavy fine and a sore hand to prove that alcohol and guns don’t mix.
