Simon Says: Please adopt me!
Meet Simon, a very big and beautiful long-haired grey tabby who we suspect is at least part Maine Coon. He is a very nice 4-year-old guy who really needs a new home soon. Although he has only been at Catmandu for about 2 weeks, it has been 2 weeks too long in his opinion.
A sweet and incredibly handsome fellow, he is very sad and unhappy since losing his home. He was found as a tiny kitten and happily lived his whole life in the same home with 15 other cats. Unfortunately, there was one older cat that he just couldn’t get along with. They tried everything, but things got worse rather than better. Rehoming was the last and final option.

In a home, Simon is a sweet, playful and affectionate fellow who is easy going and enjoys pets and getting scratched. He is a lover, a lap cat who is fine being picked up and held by people he knows and trusts. He would not do well with toddlers or preschoolers, but would be fine in a home with children school age and older.
Primarily an indoor cat, he was allowed safe outside access which he enjoyed. He would love a home with a Catio or enclosed porch. Simon does need a home with plenty of room; he would not be happy in a small apartment.
If you are interested in meeting this big handsome boy and possibly adding him to your family, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website at CatmanduCC.org/adoptions and plan to meet him at Catmandu, 1829 Brown Street. Potential adopters are welcome Friday through Sunday from 11am to 4 pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so you have plenty of time to spend with the cats before adoptions close.
