The renowned Patriots Jet Team will headline the Minden-Tahoe SkyFest, taking place Oct. 16 to 18, 2026, at the Minden-Tahoe Airport in Carson Valley, Nev. As the premier attraction of Northern Nevada’s only air show, the team will showcase its signature formation flying, precision maneuvers, and high-speed aerobatics against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada.
Comprised of former military and airline pilots, the Patriots Jet Team includes aviators who served with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, U.S. Navy Blue Angels, and frontline fighter squadrons flying aircraft such as the F-16 Fighting Falcon, A-10 Warthog, F-117 Stealth Fighter, F/A-18 Hornet, and Harrier, alongside veteran commercial airline captains.
Known for their close-formation flying and dynamic aerial demonstrations, the Patriots Jet Team delivers a thrilling performance that combines speed, teamwork, and precision. Their appearance at SkyFest highlights a weekend lineup featuring military demonstrations, aerobatic performers, skydiving exhibitions, static displays, and a special Friday night airshow experience.

Formerly known as Aviation Roundup, Minden-Tahoe SkyFest returns with a new name and elevated experience, bringing together world-class performers and family-friendly entertainment in Carson Valley. The event begins Friday, Oct. 16, with a special evening airshow and drone experience, followed by full daytime performances on Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are available now at MindenTahoeSkyFest.net. Ticket purchasers have the option to donate or roundup to support Austin’s House, the only emergency children’s shelter in rural Northern Nevada. Attendees are encouraged to purchase early, as premium viewing areas and specialty seating options are expected to sell out.
