Douglas County Sheriffs Office
On November 19, 2021, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) responded to 15 vehicle burglaries in Minden, Gardnerville, and Topaz area.
This also included three stolen vehicles from this area. The 3 vehicles were recovered locally and returned to their owners.
On November 19, 2021, DCSO received a secret witness tip of possible suspects involved in the thefts. DCSO Patrol Division and Investigations Division followed up on tip and arrested 3 juvenile males for the thefts. Additionally, two handguns were stolen during the thefts and recovered by DCSO.
There is no indication of any other persons involved at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
