UPDATE: Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded early Sunday afternoon to a vehicle rollover that happened south of Quail Lane and Laurel Road in which a male juvenile suffered injuries.
The incident was reported at 12:17 p.m. The injured person is a 17-year-old male who sustained a serious, traumatic injury to their wrist area. Rescue crews have entered a trail off of Deer Run Road to gain access to the vehicle, which is reportedly off-road.
A Care Flight air ambulance was ordered due to the severity of the injury. Rescue crews have taken the patient by ground ambulance to Carson City Airport where Care Flight will fly him to a Reno hospital trauma ward.
