Carson Chamber singers to perform in Reno, Carson City this month.

The Carson Chamber Singers, directed by Michael Langham, begin their 30th season with a pair of concerts in Reno and Carson City. The first concert, Friday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m., will be at Trinity
 Episcopal Church, 200 Island Ave. in Reno. The
 program will be repeated on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 7:30 p.m., at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 300 S. Division St. in Carson City.

The varied program includes Sure on the Shining Night by Morten Lauridsen; Dirait on from “Les Chansons des Roses” by Lauridsen; Regina Coeli, K. 108, by Mozart; Canite tuba by Palestrina; and the traditional
 American hymn tune Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal, arranged by Alice Parker.

Tickets are $10 general admission and free for age 16 and under. Tickets are available in advance at CCSymphony.com, at Play Your Own Music in the Carson Mall, or at the door.
