Join Carson City Public Works for an in-person public open house and online survey for the North Carson Complete Streets Project.

Public Information Open House: Wednesday, November 4

4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center Lobby

851 E. William St., Carson City, NV 89701.

The public will have the opportunity to come to an in-person open house. The open house will allow the public to meet project staff, learn about the study, and submit comments. The public open house materials will be available 24 hours a day via the internet at carsoncity.gov/northcarsonst through December 4, 2026.

An online survey will be available at http://carsoncity.gov/northcarsonst beginning November 2, 2026. Your comments and survey responses will help Carson City Public Works identify possible alternatives that address the immediate and future needs of all corridor users, including drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and more.

The North Carson Complete Streets Project would transform North Carson Street into a complete street and serve as a “gateway” corridor into downtown Carson City. The 2.3-mile-long segment of North Carson Street runs from Medical Parkway/Arrowhead Drive to E. William Street. The project would construct, rehabilitate, and preserve transportation infrastructure needed to support long-term multimodal transportation. Information collected during this corridor study will be used for a future National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) study.

Reasonable efforts will be made to assist and accommodate people with disabilities, desiring to attend the meeting in person or online. Attendees who may require assistance to attend and/or view meeting materials may contact Kelly Norman, Senior Transportation Planner, Carson City Public Works at (775) 283-7525.
