On Friday, Oct. 3, Carson City Hall will be closed to the public from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for a training exercise. City Hall is located at 201 N. Carson St. and houses the Public Guardian, Executive Office, Finance, Human Resources, Treasurer’s Office, and the Assessor’s Office.
During this time, the Treasurer’s Office will open a temporary location inside the Community Development building at 108 E. Proctor St. Parking is available on E. Proctor St. and N. Plaza St.
To avoid any inconvenience, the public is encouraged to make in-person payments between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., or they can opt to pay online at carson.org/pay. For property tax payments, please select the One-Time Payment Option on the website. City Hall will reopen at 4 p.m. and will remain open until 5 p.m.
