The Nevada State Museum, Carson City in collaboration with Northern Nevada Coin, will host the 2026 Carson City Mint Coin Show Friday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Sept. 19, bringing more than a dozen coin dealers from across the country to the historic former U.S. Mint building in downtown Carson City.
Held on the grounds where the Carson City Mint once produced some of the nation’s most sought-after coins, the two-day show will offer collectors, history enthusiasts, and visitors an opportunity to browse coins and connect with dealers while exploring the history of Nevada’s famed minting legacy.
Throughout both days, the museum’s historic Coin Press No. 1 will also be in operation, striking commemorative medallions from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The press, which dates to the 19th century, was used at the Carson City Mint during its years of coin production and remains one of the museum’s signature attractions.
The Carson City Mint Coin Show will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
Admission is included with regular museum admission of $10 for adults. Children ages 17 and younger and museum members receive free admission.
The Nevada State Museum, Carson City is located at 600 N. Carson Street in Carson City, with parking available off Robinson and Curry streets.
