
Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called late Friday morning to a condominium complex in the 400 block of South Saliman Road for a water heater fire at one of the units.
The call came into dispatch at around 11:30 a.m. regarding a unit in which a water heater had caught on the fire. The unit was evacuated. Carson City Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and were able to knock down the flames within moments of arrival.
The fire did not spread and there wasn’t significant structural damage, according to a battalion chief on scene.
