Gaming revenue, known as “win” for Carson City area casinos, saw a slight increase of 1.11 percent for the month of June, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported Thursday.
Carson City area casinos, which includes Minden and Gardnerville in Douglas County, took in in $8,229,305 in June compared to $8,136,730 during the same period last year.
Meanwhile South Shore Lake Tahoe area casinos posted a 17 percent increase for the month of June, taking in a “win” of $16,555,235 in June of this year compared to $14,128,801 during the same period in 2011.
North Lake Tahoe casinos saw a 29.26 percent increase, taking in $2,417,863 for June.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “win” of $832,518,772 for June, a 6 percent decrease compared to June 2011. For the fiscal year (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012), statewide gaming win has increased 0.66 percent.
