Just before 1:45 p.m., the DMV offices in Carson City were evacuated due to a suspicious unattended backpack.

A bomb sniffing dog is enroute from Reno.

Carson City deputies and first responders were called in by Capitol Police to assist with crowd control. Avoid the area until further notice.
