
Carson City and Lake Tahoe area casinos saw gaming generated revenue decline in June, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board in its monthly report.
Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and other areas of Douglas County except for south shore Lake Tahoe saw their revenue, also called “gaming win” collectively slide 5.21 percent at $10,891,533, compared to June 2023 where gaming revenue was $11,490,671.
Casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe, which includes the Stateline area, saw their gaming revenue down 12.59 percent compared to June 2023, while north Lake Tahoe casinos saw a 3.14 percent decrease.
Meanwhile, casinos in Reno and Sparks also saw drops in gaming revenue for the month, down 7 percent in Reno and 12.75 percent in Sparks.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,286,686,312 for the month of June 2024. This amounts to a 3.26% increase compared to June 2023, when licensees reported a gaming win of $1,246,020,144.
