Following a successful giveaway event on July 28, The Salvation Army Carson City Corps will host an additional Back-to-School Clothing Giveaway on Thursday, July 30, from 2 to 4 p.m., to help local families prepare for the upcoming school year.
The event, organized as a “One-Bag Shopping Spree,” provides families the opportunity to select new clothing for children of all ages and sizes. Winter jackets and a limited number of shoes will also be available.


Each child may receive one bag of clothing, with bags provided by The Salvation Army. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while they last.
Families attending should bring:
- Identification for each adult
- Proof of guardianship or custody for each child
The giveaway is intended to help ease the financial burden many families face as they prepare children for the new school year.
