Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called Monday night to the 300 block of South Carson Meadows for a fire at a storage facility unit.
At around 8:12 p.m. Carson City dispatch alerted to a fire inside a storage unit at iStorage, 333 South Carson Meadows. Firefighters arriving on scene reported seeing smoke from a storage unit and determined it was a working structure fire.
It is unknown at this time how many units were involved in the fire. At last word firefighters worked on one storage unit, which was the point of origin. Firefighters report the fire being knocked down at 8:29 p.m.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time and is under investigation.
