Carson City School Superintendent Anderew Feuling and Ronni Hannaman, executive director of the Carson City Chamber.

The Carson City School District is proud to recognize Ronni Hannaman, executive director of the Carson City Chamber of Commerceas July’s Community Partner of the Month.

The Chamber was recognized as a Champion Level partner for their ongoing commitment to supporting local schools and for their generous financial and in-kind contributions to enhance the educational and athletic experiences for students in Carson City.

As part of its Community Partner Program, the school district features a local business or organization each month for their commitment in helping schools and children have better opportunities and experiences in alignment with the district’s Strategic Plan goals.

The Carson City Chamber is considered a Community Partner at the Champion Level because they support three or more Strategic Plan goals regularly, including the 2025 Leadership Institute Class’ construction of a new ticket booth at Carson High School’s Sports Complex, which helps empower students to make healthy lifestyle choices for nutrition, wellness and physical activity (Goal 4), hosing public education workshops annually for the Leadership Institute participants, providing meaningful interactions with business professionals at school (Goal 5) and coordinating the city’s annual tree lighting event at the State Capitol featuring fifth-graders from every elementary school in Carson City, creating a collaborative school culture by actively building and sustaining strong family-school partnerships (Goal 3).

The Community Partner Recognition System aims to build a stronger, more engaged community dedicated to the success and wellbeing of its students. Additionally, it acknowledges and celebrates the valuable contributions of our community partners as they align with the goals found in the Carson City School District Strategic Plan Empower Carson City 2027.

  • Goal 1: Exceptional Staff
  • Goal 2: Curriculum that Matters
  • Goal 3: Engaged Parents and Families
  • Goal 4: Healthy Generations of Carson Students
  • Goal 5: Community in Full Partnership

The school district looks forward to continuing these valuable partnerships and encourages other community members and businesses to consider how they can contribute to the success of students.
