Carson City fire and ambulance have been called to an injury accident at the intersection of Fairview and Saliman Road. The accident involves at least three vehicles, according to dispatch and was reported just after 2 p.m. One person was reportedly injured and is being taken to the hospital. The injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Responding rescue crews report there is street flooding on Roop and Fairview, from Second to Fifth Street. The weather service reports rain will continue in Carson City past 2:30 p.m.. The Carson City Airport reports heavy rain with visibility below 1 mile reported at 2 p.m.
