Dozens of kids and families swarmed the green belt at Eagle Valley Middle School during Carson City’s Family First Field Day for Mental Health Awareness.

Various games and activities such as tug-of-war, face paintings, bounce houses, blowing bubbles, sack races, and family-favorite dribble dribble drench helped raise awareness towards the areas of mental and physical health.

Booths were also provided information for resources including the Ron Wood Family Resource Center, Serenity Mental Health, National Alliance on Mental Illness and other health and wellness providers.
