Browsers Corner Book Store in Carson City is pleased to host local author A. Katie Wood for an event and book signing on April 25 from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Katie will share her Lizzie’s Journey series, which are Christian novels that follow a young woman as she leaves her Amish family and ventures out into a foreign world. Follow her heroine as she needs to draw on self-discipline and a strong work ethic to pursue her educational goals.
In addition, Katie will talk about her latest novel, The Kommandant’s Last Battle, which features a German officer who commandeers a French woman’s home in WWII. This situation forces the main character into an emotional and moral struggle with love, compassion and life choices.
