Gaming revenue in Carson City increased by 2.64 percent in February, but the state overall saw revenue down by 1 percent compared with February 2014 figures, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

Carson City area casinos, which included those in Minden, Gardnerville and other areas in Douglas County except Stateline, took in gaming revenue, also called “win” of $7,655,250 for the month.

Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $916,086,085 for February 2015.

Elsewhere, south shore Lake Tahoe casinos saw an increase of 5.66 percent, north shore Tahoe, 3.14 percent, Reno, 3.37 percent and Sparks, 3.87 percent.
