A Salute To Young Musicians
The Capital City Community Band will present its annual “Salute To Young Musicians” concert on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. in the Boldrick Theater at the Carson City Community Center.
The Fritsch Elementary School Choir will be joining the band, performing the National anthem, It’s Only A Paper Moon and Yonder Come Day. The choir is under the direction of Cassidy Paul, Fritsch Music Specialist.
The concert will also feature soloists and ensembles from Carson High School. The band will perform a variety of music including marches, The Beach Boy’s Greatest Hits and Pixar Movies selections.
The band was founded in 1978 by Richard Doede and is currently conducted by Nick Jacques.
The concert is free and open to all members of our community and surrounding areas.
Come and join the band in celebrating 48 years of sharing music with our community and enjoy the music of the next generation of Carson City musicians. The concert is FREE but donations are happily accepted.
