It’s that green time of year again, folks! Maybe not in the environment, which hasn’t quite warmed up to the oncoming spring, but at least in celebration of St. Paddy’s Day.
Check below to find St. Patrick’s Day events throughout the weekend in Carson City.
Thursday, March 17 (St. Patrick’s Proper)
All day: St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations at the Fox Brewpub include traditional corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew and soda bread, Irish music, green beer, and much more.
All Day/4 p.m.: Free corned beef and cabbage will be served up at the Blue Bull at 4 p.m., with drink specials and green beer served throughout the day, along with the Sierra Highlanders playing at 8 p.m.
11 a.m.: St. Patrick’s Day Lunch at the Carson City Senior Center. Wear your festive green and enjoy an Irish lunch of corned beef and cabbage, with live music from Jim LeSage and ice cream served by the Carson City Sheriff’s Office. This month, the senior center is celebrating 50 years of Senior Nutrition Programs.
Friday, March 18
5 p.m. to 7 p.m.: Midtown Marketplace Sip n Shop located at 104 Corbett St. will host live music and a wine tasting while customers peruse the wares at Midtown Marketplace, which currently has a theme of Spring Solstice, complete with Easter, St. Paddy’s Day, and general springtime themed items.
Saturday, March 19
4 p.m. – 7 p.m.: Murder Mystery Dinner “Green with Envy” at the Carson Mall. Come find out who murdered Undine Thumb, crushed by kegs of green beer in the back hallway of the Good Times Pub! Dinner includes a 3-course dinner along with the murder mystery gameplay.
